Bangalore (Karnataka), May 29, 2012: His Holiness Swasti Sri Deevendrakeerthi Bhattaraka Swamiji of the Humcha Jain Mutt will be visiting Bangalore from 2nd to 4th June 2012. This will be his first visit to Bangalore after becoming the Bhattarakha of Sri Kshetra Humcha. He will be visiting the Suvarna Parshwanatha swamy Digambar Jain temple at Magadi road at 5.00 pm and will be later visiting Sri Adinatha Swamy Digambar Jain temple in the premises of Chakreshwari Mahila Samaj, Jayanagar and will be staying there over night.
Procession – On 3rd an event has been organised to mark his first visit to Bangalore. He will be taken through a procession (starting at 8.30 am) to Karnataka Jain Bhavan. This will be followed by a grand Shodashopachara pooja to Goddess Padmavathi.
Religious Gathering – A religious gathering (dharmika sabha) has been organised at Dr.D.Veerendra Heggade Sabha Bhavan in the premises of Karnataka Jain Bhavan. Here guruvandana & pada pooja will be offered to Deevendrakeerthiji. This will be followed by a religious discourse by Sri Deevendrakeerthi Bhattarakha Swamiji. – Jain Heritage Centres News Service
