Bangalore (Karnataka), April 13, 2012: An event on the ‘Kannada Tirthankara Epics’ (Kannada Tirthankara Puranagalu) has been organised in the premises of Sri Sheethalanatha Swamy Digambar Jain temple, Puttenahalli, Bangalore. It will be held on Sunday April 15, 2012 from 2.30 pm onwards. The event organised by the Bangalore unit of Jaina Adhyayana Samsthe will be presided over by noted Jain scholar Dr.Jayachandra. Professor N.Devendra Kumar of Mysore will speak about Kannada epics from 1st to the 12th Tirthankaras and Dr.S.V.Sujatha will speak about Kannada epics related to 13th to the 24th Tirthankaras in Jaina Epics. Dr.Neeraja Nagendrakumar will speak about Lord Sheethalanatha, Brahma Yaksha & Manvi Yakshi.
