Kotumachagi

    History – Kotumachagi flourished as one of the main centre of both the Jaina and Shaiva religion. This place was a part of the famous Belvola 300 and also was ruled by the rulers of Naregal. In the sanctum sanctorum of the temple we can find the black colored idols of Bhagwan Parshwanatha and Bhagwan Adinatha. These idols are very attractive. We can also find a white colored idol of Sri Chandranatha and a metal idol of Godess Padmavathi.

    How to Reach – This place is situated in the Gadag district. It is at a distance of 23 Kms from Gadag and 10 Kms from Kanaginahala railway station.

    Main Deity – Idol of Bhagwan Sri Parshwanatha.
