The session will let you explore the Jain heritage of Varendra, the region where the last Shrutakevali of Jainism, Acharya Bhadrabahu, was born. Varendra was part of the erstwhile North Bengal, now part of Bangaldesh. Dr. Majumder holds a PhD for his research on ancient Jain heritage in Bengal region.
