Bali

History – Bali is one of the ancient pilgrim places in Rajasthan. The idol of Manmohan Parshwanth is said to have been found in a lake at Sola  village. It is said that the presiding deity of Parshwanatha had appeared in the dream of a shravak named Gemaji and had inspired him to undertake the excavation works at a particular place in the lake at Sola and when he proceeded with it the idol is said to have been got there. After this the idol was taken on a bullock cart and it stopped at the present location of the temple and hence the temple was built there. We can find an inscription on the idol of Bhagawan Parshwanatha belonging to the year 1161 of the Vikram era.

How to Reach – Bali is situated at a distance of 7 kilometers from Flana in the Pali district of Rajasthan. Good boarding and lodging facilities are available at this place.
