History – This history of Kukdeshwar is believed to be about 1050 years old. The original idol of Bhagawan Parshwanatha at the temple was destroyed in the passage of time. In the depth of his splendid future, a Brahmin saw Parshwanatha, the future Tirthankara as the architect of eternal happiness and in memory of his last two births, he installed the idol of Bhagawan Parshwanatha. Kurkateshvar Parshvanath is known in the popular language by the name, Kakadeshvar. This temple was recently renovated. A fair is held here every year on the tenth day of the bright half of the month of Bhadrapad.
