History – The history of the city dates back to 15 century of the Vikram Era. The ancient temple of Manmohana Parshwanatha found in the city was constructed under the inspiration of Acharya Kailassagarsuri Maharaj Saheb. The idol of Manmohana Parshwanatha was installed in the new temple on the sixth day of the bright half of the month of Vaishakh in the year 2028 of the Vikram era. This temple is 161 ft. long, 97 ft. broad and 107 ft. high. This gives an idea of the grandeur of the temple. On seeing ‘Shri Simandhar Swami Moksha Praveshadvar’ at the gateway, the pilgrims get overwhelmed with joy. There are fifteen other temples in the city. The largest temple is of Manamohan Parshvanath Bhagawan.
How to Reach – The temple is situated in the outskirts of the Mehsana city on the Ahmedabad-Mehsana highway. The railway station is at a distance of two kilometers from the temple. In the compound of the temple boarding and lodging facilities are provided. An upashraya is also found.
Main Deity – Nearly 12 feet High, white-colored idol of Bhagawan Simandhar Swami in the Padmasana posture.
