Ahmedabad (Gujarat), August 1, 2012: After he created a record with his largest Indian book last Saturday, renowned Jain spiritual leader Muni Tarunsagar will now meet another world record holder world’s smallest woman Nagpur’s Jyoti Amge, on August 2. Jyoti will tie a rakhi to Muni’s Morpichhi (Rajoharan) on Rakhi day.
Known for his bitter discourse (Kadve Pravachan) the religious leader is stationed in the city for Chaturmas (four month halt). Currently he is giving daily discourse in his inimitable oratory style to thousands of his followers in the city.
Jyoti, who is 24 .7 inches tall, reached Ahmedabad on Tuesday evening. The monk said that it is for the third time he will be meeting the tiny ‘woman’. “I had met her in Nagpur than in Udaipur and now in Ahmedabad. She will tie a rakhi to my rajoharan on Rakshabandhan day,” he said.
It is significant that Tarunsagar Muni had written the first part of his book ‘Kadve Pravachan’ in Ahmedabad during his stay in 2003. Since then his book has become ‘best seller’ across the country and has sold more than seven lakh copies. – News Courtesy: DNA India
