Pune (Maharashtra), August 31, 2013: To commemorate the 61st year of construction of Shri Godi Parshwanath Jain Temple Pune, a special cover was released at Pune on 31st August 2013. India Post provided special cancellation on this occasion. A grand function was organised for release of this cover in the premises of Godiji Parshwanath Temple, Pune. Mr. Meena, Post Master General, Pune Circle was the chief guest and Mr. Sudhir Jain, National Chairman, Jainism Philately Group (JPG) was special guest at the release function. Mr. Chandubhai shah, Chairman, Godiji Mandir Trust, Mr. Pramod Kumar Jain, Vice chairman JPG, Mr. Deepak Modi, General Secretary JPG, Mr. Mithalal Jain, Secretary JPG Pune Chapter, etc were also present at the function. Godiji Mandir was beautifully decorated for the function and well attended. The function was held in the presence of His Holiness Pujya Viveksaar Maharajsab and Gyanesh Vijayji Maharajsab.
